1. About Primary Coding Clubs

Primary Coding Clubs provides coding clubs, sessions, and learning resources designed for primary school-aged children. Clubs may be delivered in schools, online, or as part of after-school provision and are run by Primary Coding League (CIC).

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By enrolling a child in a Primary Coding Club, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree, you must not register for or take part in the club.

3. Eligibility

  • Primary Coding Clubs are intended for children of primary school age.

  • Registration must be completed by a school, parent, carer, or legal guardian.

  • Participants are expected to follow instructions and behave respectfully at all times.

4. Registration and Information

  • All registration details must be accurate and up to date.

  • It is the responsibility of the registering adult or school to inform us of any relevant needs or requirements where appropriate.

  • Primary Coding Clubs reserves the right to refuse or cancel a place if false or misleading information is provided.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

Participants must:

  • Treat others with respect

  • Follow the guidance of club leaders

  • Use equipment and online platforms responsibly

Unacceptable behaviour (including disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct) may result in removal from the club without refund.

6. Online and Digital Use

Where clubs involve online platforms:

  • Accounts must only be used by authorised participants

  • Login details must not be shared

  • Content shared must be appropriate and educational

Any misuse of online systems may result in access being removed.

7. Fees and Payments

  • Some Primary Coding Clubs require payment; all fees will be clearly stated in advance.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Missed sessions are not refundable.

  • Primary Coding Clubs reserves the right to change fees with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All teaching materials, resources, branding, and content provided by Primary Coding Clubs remain the intellectual property of Primary Coding League.

  • Children retain ownership of their own projects, but Primary Coding Clubs may display anonymised work for educational or promotional purposes, unless requested otherwise.

9. Safeguarding

  • Safeguarding and child wellbeing are a priority.

  • All club leaders follow appropriate safeguarding procedures.

  • Any safeguarding concerns may result in immediate action, including removal from the club where necessary.

10. Data Protection

  • Personal data is collected only for the administration of Primary Coding Clubs.

  • Data is processed in line with applicable data protection legislation.

  • Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Primary Coding Clubs is not responsible for technical issues outside of our control.

  • Participation is at the participant’s own risk, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued participation in Primary Coding Clubs indicates acceptance of any updates.
