Primary Coding Club: Home Ed!
Code, Create and Imagine — Flexible Coding for Home Educators. (Ages 7 - 12)
Service Description
Our Home Ed Coding Sessions are designed specifically for home-educated children aged 7 -12 years who want to build real digital skills in a supportive, social environment. Each session is hands-on and practical, with children learning through creative challenges, projects and problem-solving activities. Pupils explore coding concepts step-by-step, developing computational thinking, resilience and confidence as they create games, animations and interactive projects. Sessions are structured but flexible, allowing children to progress at their own pace while feeling part of a collaborative learning community. We encourage discussion, teamwork and independent thinking — not just following instructions, but understanding how code works. Children track their progress and celebrate achievements through certificates and collectable pin badges, recognising effort, creativity, perseverance and teamwork. No prior experience is needed. Every child leaves feeling proud, motivated and inspired to keep creating. Parents are not permitted to stay for sessions.
